The future is now.
That’s right, ladies and gents. Another day, another step for us towards a digital lifestyle. It’s only a matter of time before Skynet becomes self-aware and the machines take over.
Damn, that got dark really quickly.
Yeah, but before it really does, we should all just celebrate the fact that Bell & Ross has just launched its e-boutique in Malaysia! The concept, however, is not exactly new to the Paris-based brand as it was “the first in the watch industry to launch its E-boutique (concept) back in 2009.”
Since then, the brand has gone on to market its many collections across Europe, the United States, Australia and Singapore. According to B&R’s CEO, Carlos A. Rosillo, the opening of the e-boutique in Malaysia is seen as an “important strategic step that enables the brand to provide the same excellent service to our Malaysian clients.”
“O… kay, but isn’t going to an actual Bell & Ross boutique part of the watch-buying experience?”
You’re right, it is. However, what if you happen to live pretty far from one? You could drive all the way to the boutique or you could sit at home and purchase your favourite B&R after you’ve binged half the season of Love, Death and Robots.
So, aside from the ease of accessibility to its collection and accessories, the move to go online is also another way for the brand to combat “unofficial and unauthorized points of sale(s).” In other words, sticking it to the grey importers.
Last but not least, there’s also a lil’ bonus thrown in exclusively for online shoppers. As part of the launch of its e-boutique, Bell & Ross has unveiled a leather goods collection consisting of travel pouches and watch rolls. Two colour tones are available. Interested? The e-boutique is now live at its official website here.
